coordinate perfectly with the ICY BLUE Skins found at SIMasquerade. Each ICY
BLUE skin set includes matching default hands, nude, swimsuit, formal, and
pajamas, so your ICY BLUE Sim will appear correctly in all stages of game play.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS IN ORDER FOR YOUR ICY BLUE SIMS TO APPEAR CORRECTLY IN YOUR GAME!

Important Instructions:
It
is VERY important that you install all the files included in the Skin zip in
order for your ICY BLUE Sim to appear correctly in your game. Additionally, your
ICY BLUE Sim must be wearing an ICY BLUE skin in order for him/her to have the
proper ICY BLUE default hands and outfits in game play. Follow more
detailed instructions below based on the version of The Sims you are
running.
HOTDATE+ VERSION - or any expansion pack that includes a downtown
Place ALL files into C:/ Program Files/Maxis/The Sims/ Gamedata/ skins folder (or read this)
Start your game and create your ICY BLUE Sim on the Create-a-sim panel. Be sure to coordinate an ICY BLUE Head with an ICY BLUE Skin.
Move your ICY BLUE Sim into a home.
At this point, your ICY BLUE Sim will have the correct color hands and nude base (when bathing, nude hot-tubbing, or playing in bed)
In order for your Sim to have the correct Swim, Sleep, and Formal defaults, you must send your ICE BLUE Sim downtown to buy them.
If you do not have your ICY BLUE Sim buy the correct defaults, they will have regular medium bodies and blue head and hands when they swim, sleep, and marry

PRE-HOTDATE VERSION - The Sims and/or Living Large, and/or House Party
Place ALL files into C:/ Program Files/Maxis/The Sims/ Gamedata/ skins folder
Start your game and create your ICY BLUE Sim on the Create-a-sim panel. Be sure to coordinate an ICY BLUE Head with and ICY BLUE Skin.
Move your ICY BLUE Sim into a home.
At this point, your ICY BLUE Sim will have all the correct default skins for all activities.
THE SIMS DELUXE, DOUBLE DELUXE - only versions that do not include a downtown expansion
Create your ICY BLUE Sim on the Create-a-sim panel. Be sure to coordinate an ICY BLUE Head with and ICY BLUE Skin.
Move your ICY BLUE Sim into a home.
At this point, your ICY BLUE Sim will have the correct color hands and nude base (when bathing, nude hot-tubbing, or playing in bed)
Unfortunately, it is not possible to have ICY BLUE default swimwear, pajamas, or formal wear. If this is a concern contact Maxis!
Troubleshooting
HotDate Buyables and Defaults:
Some people report that they cannot see/buy new swimwear, PJs, and formal buyables after they install them, as instructed, into the "C:/Program Files/Maxis/The Sims/ Gamedata/ Skins" folder. If this is the case for you, you may need to move the HotDate (and ONLY the HotDate) skins into the "SkinsBuy" folder. The location of the "SkinsBuy" folder depends on which expansion packs you have installed to date. It will always be a subfolder under one of the ExpansionPack or ExpansionShared folders.
The only files that should be placed in the SkinsBuy folder are files that begin with an "L" or an "S" or an "F".
Please note that MAXIS does not recommend the use of the "SkinsBuy" folder, so install into "SkinsBuy" AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you plan on upgrading to another expansion pack, any skins you have installed in the "SkinsBuy" folder may no longer work. Another known problem is if you install a non-HotDate skin into the "SkinsBuy" folder and that skin also exist in your GameData/Skins folder, your game WILL crash, and FileCop will NOT detect the problem!
